20 years later, I’m teaching a class…

After twenty some years of practice, I’m happy to be teaching an introductory class to Shintaido boh staff.  Shintaido is an exercise/martial art developed in Japan from traditional martial arts, though focuses more on group activities, personal expression, and connection to nature.

This new 8 week course will focus on exercise with the 6 foot boh (which will be provided) outdoors.  The course is designed for beginners with no martial arts experience who are looking to expand their exercise/fitness routines to include outdoor activity that includes elements of play and inspiration. We’ll be practicing in a beautiful location — in front of Lake Massapoag near the Community Center in Sharon.

Classes will begin on Tuesday June 21 at 6:30 pm in front of the Community Center, 219 Massapoag Avenue in Sharon. Feel free to join even if you miss the intro classes.  Please email me if you’re interested and I’ll send more info.  For more information on Shintaido, visit the website for Shintaido of America.
