(Notes: I had a couple things going on here…I had been doing some Shintaido exercises at Lake Massapoag that connect to nature with a staff — reaching up to the sky, down to the earth, out to the horizon. And I have been participating in an e-course “Trusting in Life” based on the work of Benedictine monk and founder of gratefulness.org, David Steindl-Rast. One of the themes: in the midst of control in life, to also sometimes let go and surrender. Another theme: to experience something much greater, and explore the phrase “I belong to you.” )
